The Union of the Sisters of Mercy GB have recently received the results of the safeguarding audit undertaken by the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency in December 2025.  Out of the 8 standards measured, we are delighted to have been rated as ‘EXEMPLARY’ in 3 standards, ‘COMPREHENSIVE ASSURANCE’ in 3 standards and ‘RESULTS BEING ACHIEVED’ in 2 standards.  The report has highlighted the positive safeguarding culture of the congregation and significant strengths across most standards.
